ASSASSIN awarded Best Film of the Year at XBiz!
New York, NY (January 11, 2012)—International gay porn powerhouse Lucas Entertainment took home the award for “Gay Movie of the Year” for its 2011 blockbuster “Assassin” at the tenth annual XBIZ Awards ceremony, the adult entertainment industry’s awards event of the year.
“I’m thrilled and thankful that XBIZ recognized all of the work and effort that went into the production of ‘Assassin,’” says president and CEO Michael Lucas. “The movie was a success for everyone involved, cast and models alike.”
“I want to give a huge thank you to XBIZ for recognizing the relentless and detailed work that was put into making ‘Assassin,’” says co-director and writer Marc MacNamara. “We filmed [the movie] in New York City in February with below-zero degree weather, and I certainly tortured the models with a lot of outdoor filming. But we all did the hard work knowing that we had something special to show.”
